Firstly – we would like to thank all of you for your support since our very grand opening back in February 2015.
We have been blown away with your response. There have been issues – we were hit far harder than we could have ever dreamt but we continue to try to find solutions by trying your suggestions whilst still remaining true to our mission statement.
We have to be very honest with you. In our business plan the food side was to be a selection of pie and mash with sausage rolls and other beer friendly loveliness to munch whilst enjoying one of our fine brews.
It was clear after our first evening of service that due to the magnificence of our building some of the public have expected far more from us. We have tried all sorts of dishes, introduced new items and tried to please everyone. During this time we have employed an extra 22 people (In the last 8 weeks!) including a new kitchen team who all want to put their own mark on the menu.
Whilst on the subject of our kitchen – did you know that we have no gas in our building?
We have no deep fat fryers (we could have had some but we didn’t want to grease up the wonderful oak beams in our ceiling).
So – everything produced here is not only from scratch but is cooked with steam and on halogen hobs – please take a peek the next time you are in.
The Kitchen Team do the most amazing job especially when you see what a tiny kitchen we have and it will now be producing the best pies ever!
Again –thank you for your support and feed back and we look forward to seeing you again soon.
The Dancing Man Team
