Chef’s Blog

Hello fellow food lovers,

First of all, I’d like to introduce myself, I’m Colin, the Head Chef here at Dancing Man Brewery.

This is my first blog (I’m usually stuck behind the pass in our fantastic kitchen) so go easy on me, but I’ve got some exciting news I wanted to share…

Right, as we all know Dancing Man Brewery do the best roasts in town. (Even if I do say so myself!)

I’ve listened to you all and I’ve extended our Sunday opening hours so you can now get one of our delicious roasts until 6pm on a Sunday. There’s always been a choice of pork or beef, but I have now included chicken for those of you that look forward to a good stuffing on a Sunday. Even better than this, we will now serve a “BFG” – which will be a mixed meat roast with all the trimmings.

If our traditional Sunday School Roast doesn’t take your fancy, we always have our famous pies, and a fish option too. Looking forward to seeing you in the restaurant. (don’t forget to book in advance as we are always busy!)

I wanted to talk to you about our new ice cream supplier too…

We will now be serving you the incredible Purbeck Ices ice cream and sorbet selection.

Purbeck Ices are a family owned ethically run business established in 1988 offering premium ice creams and sorbets.

All the products are made on their farm using 60% Purbeck milk, 22% Dorset cream, British sugar and natural flavours with no additives or colours THEY ARE ALSO EGG FREE.

8 delicious new ice cream flavours including Salted Caramel, Honeycomb Hash and Dorset Marmalade. There are 6 new sorbets including Blood Orange, Blackcurrant and Lemon! We’ve had a taste in the kitchen, and they are almost too good to share! Ask your server for the flavours of the day.

I take pride in our vegan offerings here in the Dancing Man Restaurant and to compliment our menu, we will also now serve Very Cherry and Vanilla vegan ice cream!

Now, I know that you’ll all be happy with our new dessert additions but I couldn’t leave out our furry friends… The Dancing Man Team are all dog mad and Mr Watson put in his requests too.

In addition to our meat and vegan “Dog’s Dinner” our 4 legged (Or in Mr Watson’s case 3 legged) friends won’t miss out on dessert or snacks either as we will have Waggy Doggy Popcorn, Waggy Doggy Crisps and Waggy Doggy ice cream as a lovely treat for your best friends.

See you soon!

Colin
