My my we have been busy! Firstly I’d like to thank everyone for your kind words and well wishes regarding our recent victory at the Best Bar None awards. We picked up the coveted Best Pub award for the second time on the trot, and runner up overall. Hooray! The evening was a huge success and a real thrill. Thanks to all involved.
Many of you have been enjoying our recent batch of Electric Grapefruit Wizard IPA 6%, but for anyone that hasn’t tried it there are a few kegs left so come and fill your boots. While you’re at it, you can try our latest cask creation….. (Check out that seamless link)…..
DANK MARVIN 5.1% is a hop monster showcasing our favourite “dank” hops. A simple malt bill and our house yeast strain play a supporting roll to oodles of Columbus, Simcoe, Chinook & Centennial. Dank, resinous & slightly fruity with a middle to firm bitterness, Dank Marvin has a fairly heavy mouthfeel and makes for a really exciting cask ale. As a fitting tribute to one of Englands original rock and roll axe men, we had Apache full blast on the Dancing Man stereo whilst we racked this bad boy. Dank Marvin is released on Saturday 12th May and will be available at the brewery until you thirsty lot sup it all!
