When we first started looking for venues, we were overwhelmed by the sheer amount we found up and down the country, however none of them ever felt quite right until we discovered the Dancing Man Brewery. We both fell in love with it the moment we walked in, from the stunning spiral staircase and unique décor to the relaxed atmosphere and locally crafted ales, it was exactly what we were looking for.
Hannah and the whole Dancing Man team were fantastic from the word go. They catered to all of our needs with ease, especially providing many vegetarian and vegan options which was a particular preference of ours. No request was too large and Hannah was always enthusiastic about all the details (big and small) that made our day special. We were blessed with hot weather, which gave us the opportunity to have welcome drinks in the park around the side of the DMB before heading inside for the meal, another little touch that Hannah suggested and catered for. The meal was superb, the drinks were constantly flowing and all of our guests commented on the quick and friendly service. Most of all, the DMB has an atmosphere that exudes fun. Everybody was able to relax, let their hair down and enjoy themselves without worrying about the formal wedding etiquette you often get in say a hotel. It combined the laid back feeling with a touch-of class to make our wedding day both special and enjoyable.
The DMB is amazingly located, it’s literally next door to the registry office, surrounded by hotels within a few hundred meters (all our guests could walk back – a handy feature) and great views along the coast. The band we used were called ‘The Vibes’, another excellent find. They had played at the DMB before so were able to set up easily and once the meal finished, Hannah and the team cleared a huge space where we were able to dance all night. The locals were even singing along downstairs! I would recommend Hannah and the DMB in a heartbeat to other couples looking for a venue in the area, she made planning a wedding feel easy and was constantly positive throughout the whole process. We have so many photos and memories that will stay with us forever, all made possible by The Dancing Man Brewery.
